We are looking for an experienced Head of HR to lead and shape the company’s People function, while overseeing all HR processes and ensuring high-quality, hands-on execution. This role combines strategic thinking with practical delivery and requires a strong connection to the day-to-day needs of employees, managers, and the organization. Execution is carried out by the Recruitment & Employee Experience Manager who reports to this role
Role & Responsibilities
- HR Strategy: Oversee the implementation of the HR roadmap and ensure alignment with business goals and organizational needs.
- Recruitment Oversight: Oversee headcount planning, organizational needs assessment, hiring targets, and recruitment processes.
- Learning & Development: Provide oversight of training programs, professional development pathways, performance management, and leadership enablement.
- Manager Support & Coaching: Partner closely with managers on employee development, compensation considerations, performance management, PIP processes, promotions, and termination decisions.
- Employee Experience & Welfare Oversight: Ensure the execution of welfare, culture, and engagement initiatives that reflect the company’s values and employee needs.
- Compliance & Labor Law: Ensure full adherence to employment laws, manage risk, handle sensitive employee matters, and maintain up-to-date HR and legal knowledge.
- Administrative guidance: Manage the admin function in Planet-Nine.
Requirements
- Strong relationship-building skills and high emotional intelligence.
- 7+ years of experience in HR management, including senior leadership roles and ownership of core HR domains.
- Proven experience in a dynamic, fast-growing environment- advantage for experience in a startup of 30-100 employees.
- Strong project management skill that will allow efficient HR strategy execution, while remaining hands-on in daily operations.
- Strong expertise in labor law, compensation & benefits, and offboarding processes.
- Demonstrated experience in salary proposals, compensation planning, and negotiation with senior leadership.
- Certified Sexual Harassment Prevention Officer.
- Proficient English.
